‘Tis the season to have fun with gourds- so here’s a recipe for baking your own pumpkin bars!
These have zero added or artificial sugar and are wheat/gluten free!
1 can pumpkin puree
1/2 cup almond butter
a little over 1/4 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
Nutmeg to taste
Cinnamon to taste
Pre-heat your oven at 350
line a 9x 12 baking dish with parchment paper
combine wet ingredients
stir in the dry ingredients
pour the batter
cook for 18-20 mins or until a fork comes out clean

Ready to toss that concoction into the oven!
COOL before serving!
~Cool and fridge before serving. I found that brings far more flavor and firms up the texture.
~Cut when cooled with a pizza slicer if you have it.
~I had to bake mine for 40 minutes….I may have even turned up the temp to 400.
~Toss crushed almonds, coconut flakes pre-baking- or add chocolate, seeds, cranberries, whatever you want! Let us know some of YOUR ideas!!
