About Red Aspen Wellness
If you do not change direction, you will end up where you are heading. Lao Tzu
Dr. Sheila is a licensed acupuncturist and board certified Chinese herbalist. In addition to working in private practice at Red Aspen, she was also the staff acupuncturist at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette. After 10 years in practice she went on to pursue her doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine with a strong emphasis in environmental pollution and human health impacts.
In addition to clinical experience she served on the Colorado State Board and has various teaching, writing, and lecturing experience for colleagues, the community and medical staff.
Her private practice provides a blend of services from acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional guidance, insightful labs for hormones, toxins, and infections, and can administer homeopathic injection therapy to promote optimal physical and emotional health. Telemedicine and in-office appointments are available.
When she’s not advocating the art of getting poked properly, she’s probably backpacking, out for a run, on a hike, in the garden, or having lunch with the clinic assistant, Charles.
Charles is the assistant practitioner. He works from home and is on hand when research and writing is taking place. Some call him the brains of the operation. It might be true.
